Of course

My own PBY.

Wartime external configuration

Inside fitted as a full flying camper to hit the road.

Air shows, fishing trips, Island hopping....etc.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Second choice would be a A-26 with a hydraulic lift for a Harley.

I would have to go with a P-47D with a bubble canopy. It's not extremely rare (only "pretty rare"), but it would surpass a P-51 on my list. I fell in love with the P-47 at last years Thunder Over Michigan show.

Runners up would be a P-39, an F4F-3, a B-26, and a C-121 Constellation (perhaps the most beautiful airplane ever).

Boy this is hard - BUT I'd love to have a F-100F - two seats so I could share the joy with someone else.

A close runner up: P-61 Black Widow, XB-70 Valkryie (sp?) and B-58 Hustler - rare and beautiful!

Hands down, nothing for me but a P-38 Lightning and I'd paint it in the colors of the 20th. Fighter Group. :D A distant second choice (since the P-51 has been disallowed) would be a B-17G.

Beautiful or practical?
Savoia Marchetti SM.55 flying boat or Caproni Ca.309 Ghibli - the most rugged and versatile twin of the desert?

I like all the Flying boat ideas,
The cookout we had in the albatross was perfect, the grille cooking burgers up on the tail, the bunks as a buffet with the coolers underneath
The swim platform hooked on the side

I would have to agree, Flying/Fishing/Boat Drinks

An Albatross, or really pushing it a Mallard with PT6-42s Ooooh!
Or if it had to stay dry I would go with an A-26
No fighters, I dont fit in Corvettes or Learjets either
