UK PR.9 canberra bombers as warbirds update?

What has happened to the Royal Air Forces Pr. 9 Canberra bombers?

They were retired SIGH already 7 months ago.. so fast time has flown..

I heard they were going to be WBs but is that not true?

Any updates?

PR stands for photo recce.... :wink:

Rumours have been going around that the MOD may even be considering a lease back option on them back for use in their intended role........ :shock:

I think it's a watch this space for now.

Yep, very much watch this space for now... they've all been kept in good nick and had engine runs etc. carried out regularly but no major progress to report.
