Straigt wing Thunderjet, without a doubt. I just like the looks of it and there are no flyers around that I'm aware of.

A-3 Skywarrior or F-105 Thunderchief

Post-70 would be the OA-10, hands down.

Well Rob, since you claimed the 89, I'll have to go with an F-86D. I just like the looks of the Dog. And as you stated, we had them here.

F-86, any model, IMHO one of the most beautiful aircraft ever created. 8)

I'd have to vote F-105 as well.
Wouldn't mind a P-59, though...wouldn't that be cool to see at an airshow!?!

Panther, another quality Grumman product. I also like the Cutlass, I know it's a dog, but it's beautiful, and I don't have to shoot down MIG's. Walt's got a nice one, "I promise, really, I'll never fly it Walter, honest, I swear...." :)

The lockheed T-33 is the jet for me!can anyone think of a jet that was in service longer and the loss regretted more when finally taken out of service than the T-bird?many were kept around as hacks and personal transpo long after they were oficially disposed of.reliable, sturdy and one hell of an airplane.others are faster, others are sexier but none are more reliable or as well loved (well maybe some british planes i.e. meteor, canberra, vampire etc. etc.)
thats my 2 cents worth................Tim.................

TF-9J Cougar always a favorite of mine. My step-dad ejected out of one
after the engine exploded and he still liked it afterwards. That's good enough for me.
By the way, did they ever did the one that disappreared a few years back returning from the Santa Monica Auction flown by john Verdi?? As I remember he was flying flying IFR illegially in very bad weather.
