Vermont Life Magazine article

Wed Sep 29, 2004 6:20 pm

I just picked up a copy of the fall issue of Vermont Life magazine and in it is a very good article about a B-24 Liberator that crashed into Camels Hump, Waterbury Vt. in October 1944. The Liberator was on a training flight out of Westover field and all but one crewman were killed.

Normally I really don't care for this publication, but this is the exception. If you see this in your local bookstore or newsstand I recommend you pick up a copy. A teaser for the article can be found on the magazines website (thats why I went looking for this book in the first place).

Scott, this is the same B-24 I mentioned to you at Nashua.

I never said it was easy nor did I say that there is much left. Most was scrapped in the early 50's. I just said it was a good article. 8) :D
