hmm... how'd I forget the Avro Arrow.... mind you, I'd save one of each... the Avro Arrow Mk I and the MkII (Pratt and Whitney powered and Orendo powered, respectively)

Oh, and there are so many great planes that would have been great to save... so I'll second all of them. Hmm... I can't remember, did anyone mention a Dehavilland Sea Hornet or the Australian CA-15.

Richtofen's Triplane...

Pardon my ignorance, but I seem to remember reading ages ago that there was a red and green Fokker Dr. 1 of Richtofen's on display in Berlin until bombing raids levelled it. Anybody else heard of it? I've still got the book at the house...somewhere...

Oh and while I'm at it, throw my vote in with the Typhoon and Mosquito.
