#1: Is there a Big Country Squadron in at the Abilene Elmdale Airpark? If so which hangar?
Yes, it's the largest hangar on the field..at the NE corner or thr property.
A very nice facility.
The NE corner puts you in a farm field. Did you mean the SE corner? There is a building there which appears to have access to the grass strip.
The Building on the SW side is the FBO. Across the runway to slightly to the east is the CAF bldg. It has a big parking lot. JBoyle wrote:

#67: Apparently there is a T-33 displayed in a city park in Sweetwater. If so where exactly is it?
Several blocks NE of city center. It's the city's largets park and is near their Fairgrounds. Also they have a UH-1H "Huey" and M-60 tank on display.
I think I found the T-33 at 32 29 03.12 N 100 24 36.91 W. Is it pole mounted. Is the UH-1 near-by?
I THINK it's on t he ground. The Huey and tank are in the same small compound.JBoyle wrote:
Other items... I think the C-119/F-102 at Granbury is actually the now defunct Pate Museum. If Goodfellow has an HH-43, I think that's whhere they got it from.
So the Pate Museum is now closed? When did that happen? Are any of the aircraft still there?
It closed in 1999-2000. I know that because a friend, the curator at the Dyess Museum, was trying to get some stuff from there. JBoyle wrote:

There is a T-33 at a VFW post in San Angelo.
I thought there is one at a high school. I can’t find it myself. Is the one at high school the same as the VFW (possibly next-door neighbors)? Or are there two separate aircraft? Do you happen to have a street address or coordinates? I am not having much luck with these T-33s.
It's pole mounted alongside the building. I don't have an address...but it's on the south side of the major hi-way that enters town from the north...it then swings to an E-W direction. The plane faces north. It was there in 2004. I can't imagine why they'd move it...it looked pretty unloved. JBoyle wrote:

The airport at Brownwood has an F-4 and F-111 on display ...and I believe an A-7 as well.
I have the F-4 and F-111. Where is the A-7? Is it near the other two?
I thought it was. I remember t he 111 and Phanptom, but my memory tells me there was something else there....I might be wrong. JBoyle wrote:

There is also a UH-1B on I-20 just east of Midland at a military surplus store.
I’ll need more info for this one. Helos are very difficult to pick out in the satellite images. What is the name of the store? Street address or maybe even coordinates.
Sorry, it was 50 feet off I-20 at an exit. On the North side of the freeway, Maybe 30 40 miles from Midland. JBoyle wrote:
And A UH-1H at a Vietnam memorial at Big Spring...along with the museum at the old Webb AFB.
I have the one at the memorial. Is the UH-1 at Webb part of the Hangar 25 museum or is it displayed outside someplace?
