The B-17F and up seem to get all the attention, this thread is for sharing information about earlier B-17s, in particular the sharkfin/bubble blister models.

I have never been in on ... static or flying any b-17. P-38 yep P-51 yep etc etc but never a 17. maybe its some kind of psychological barrier... :D

You can delete a duplicate post as soon as you realize it has happened but
only before someone else posts to the thread. Vlado just posted multiples
on the "Pucker Factor" thread..he can backtrack out of it by clicking the
X on the last duplicate first, until he's down to one post.
