The article was called Orphans of the Storm by the son of one of the pilots John Burlinggame (sp). I have a couple of photos. They had a number of x-354th FG P-51Ds assigned to them.

Was looking at the 363rd FG book and there was a "Angels Playmate" in the 380 FS .there was 3 P-51's with the same name flown by Ed Ballinger.
Martin do you think maybe "Angels Playmate" ( Ogilvie) - OD P-51B was one of them?
Hope to see photo's you said you have.
thanks

Thanks. Nice and clear.
I wonder if Bruce Carr got the idea of this name when he was in the 380 FS(if this is the same P-51 as in the 380 FS)
Will never know I guess.
Any more on the other P-51B's?
Eric
