If you do a search in the old archives you will find a long thread on it, including the thoughts of some Russian friends of mine who have been to the area and recovered some B-25 stuff....they never found any Doolittle B-25 remains and from what they could find out from talking to locals and checking the archives it was destroyed in the fifties.

Thanks.
I have searched the archives some for those threads. I also have some other sources, but have never been able to turn up anything farther than the stuff I have posted over at
http://www.doolittleraid.com. However, it'd sure be neat if one of the China aircraft turned up. The other thing I've wondered is if any pictures remain of the plane (or two?) that was reported to have been recovered by the Japanese and displayed in Japan during the war. Right now I can't remember where I may have seen the reference, but I kind of think I remember saying that it was the remains of the 16th plane.
