well, i'm 47 today & i'm celebrating by mowing the lawn & cleaning the bathroom, but i'd thought i'd have a little fun & ask you guys & gals if you know of any famous aviators that were born on august 23rd. i'm predicting alot of smart *ss comments....... :roll:

Well if you lived near me, Id say come on out to our Bomber and have lunch with us, but I dont remember where you live. ANyways dont know about aviators on your B-day but heres a list I compiled for you;

1305 William Wallace (Scottish military leader) is executed by the English.

And most importantly, on this day in history, 1914
Japan declares war on Germany in World War I.

My official birthday was 18 August, but business travel put off the party until 23 August. You can add me to the list of not really famous aviators partying today.

Jenny/867-5309 was originally done by Tommy Twotone (sp?).

I prefer to refer to this year as the 17th anniversary of my 39th birthday.
