Hi Folks:

We've discussed this at some length earlier. Right now if you had the choice between going to Ternate and Morotai, or Yap and Guam, which one would you go and why?

Actually that's encouraging news. The Army Corps of Engineers is quite easy to deal with!

Sure, if you have the time to wait for them to "consider the potential effects of your work".

I get things approved by them all the time.

I don't doubt that. But how many of them involve "sights on or eligible to bew on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and associated 36 CFR Part 800"?

Actually, they are very reasonable, and will seriously consider anything that has been signed off by an archeologist. If it's not signed off by an archeologist, then won't even look at the request.

That being the case, I'd suggest getting an archeologist from the University of Guam and go after the Val, Jake or Rufe that are in the water just off San Luis Point in Apra Harbor.
