I saw her in Mar 2011 on jacks in Chino. Maybe there's another thread - did I miss any more recent updates?

From the Planes of Fame airshow in May of 2010. I think this is the same bird.

Yeah, that is the same aircraft. Last I saw of or heard of it, was just before the 2011 POF show, and it was photographed having work done on it at Fighter Rebuilders as Ken states (the aircraft has sure gotten around during its restoration - Vintage Airframes having done the brunt of the work, and then it was at West Pac for some time, being fitted out). There was some mention in another thread, around this time last year, that new wing-to-fuselage fairings were being made for it (as the intent is to make it absolutely perfect), but there hasn't seemed to be anything mentioned of it since, at least not here or in any of the warbird-related publications. I would love to know about where it currently stands regarding completion/flight, just for curiosity sake. Everything about it is absolutely gorgeous!

Nearly ready to fly if it hasn't already I suspect. The fit and finish of the skins and fairings is perfect! I doubt there has ever been a finer polished Mustang. The pinnacle of over restoration (just the way I like it btw).

I admire Paul Allen for having UE finished in a factory style to include imperfect spot welds, etc ... and I admire the work done to make this thing perfect. There's room for both in my book.
