What all did the Chinese have in their AF at the time? Hawks, Peashooters, I-15s and I-16's? The Nell was a pretty fast AC, so one of those would have had to have had altitude to get the jump. I know I have seen some of these pics lately, just don't recall where.

Due to "Indian arrows" comments about the E8N post I made today, I reposted the NELL photos from a week ago...instead of a 'bump'.

So I'm not going crazy! The Nell always reminded me of the Dornier "Flying Pencil"
I find the forensic arrows interesting to rebuild the attack. I have seen US AC with chalked circles and caliber sizes on various holes.
