To be somewhat practical, an OV-10 Bronco would make for a good airshow bird that's still capable of hauling a good amount of baggage around. Would be one classy RV!

I asked this same question to a friend of mine who flies for a major collection. Considering that he's flown Mustangs, Spitfires, Bearcats, Hellcats, Wildcats, P-40s, P-47s and many others I was somewhat surprised by his answer.

"You already fly the best one", he said.

There used to be some folks with a B-25 that came down to Harligen for the big CAF show. They had a freezer rigged up that could be lowered to the ground out of the bombay. Inside this freezer were all the makings you need for frozen adult beverages, to be consumed after the flying was done. I guess I'd like to have me a B-25 or A-26 rigged up like that.

Hi all--

Fury WG567 (the present "Miss Merced"), returned to Centaurus power and refinished in her late style RCN double-grey as NAVY:133. Course I'm not a pilot, and even if I were it'd take a lot of "pre-experience" to work up to handling a thoroughbred like the Fury. Which means I'd need a pilot to go with the airplane, at least for a few seasons. Volunteers? :D

B-24J - I'd put it in 308th Bomb Group markings with the nose art "Nip Nipper" and shark teeth!

They (the 308th) trained at Wendover field and the B-24s are rare and my grandfather hitched a joy ride on one in China during a break in the fighting (he was a combat engineer with the 191st).
