Because it's been confirmed in a previous thread here.
Are you sure it's confirmed? Reading through that previous thread didn't clear it up for me for certain, although it did sound likely that the A-20 had gone on to another owner.
Cheers,
Richard

Oh yea, duuuuhhh. I'm so used to hearing Fighter Factory, that those initials just didn't click. Thanks.
So, disregard everything I said earlier. Now, we CAN confirm that one is Yagen's. I wonder why all the secrecy then, especially since that fact has already been published?

Did Gerry say anything about the timeline of the restoration of his A-20 or is it waaaay on the backburner?

This one is about as politically correct as "Big Nig".

I understand that name actually has no racial overtones. Like many aircraft in that squdron, it was named after a fictional character mentioned in a Damon Runyon novel. The nose arts were characatures of the pilots.
I'm sure that won't stop some from taking misplaced offense, though. I remember some years back a college professor was either fired or forced to resign after using the word "niggardly" in a speech. Of course the word has nothing to do with race, but some overly senstive and not particurlarly literate folks immediately screamed for his head.![]()
