This is the one that is listed on Platinum Fighters ( or at least was listed). There is more information on its "current" condition there.

Harold Kindsvater's old plane?

I'd love to buy that and restore it to it's pre-Don Whittington low-pass configuration as I always thought that was the coolest of the CAF Buchon paint jobs.

No, the one that was flown into the ground gear-up at Airsho '76 and sat in disrepair for the next 30 years is the one I'm referring to.

That is not the BF-109E that is listed on Platinum, Thiers's is a real BF-109E not a Buchon and the price was reduced to 3.75 million. 1 of 2 airworthy E models, the other belongs to Paul Allen at FHC

No, it's this one...N9939. It didn't fly very much before the accident.

That's why I thought the add was strange. They show one photo of the a/c in flight and nothing else.

Another ground loop in waiting. What's the most amount of hours put on any restored 109 before being wrecked on landing?

Probably the 2 currently operating in the UK. Come to think of it, they're probably the only two Merlin-engined ones operational anywhere at the moment.

Yes, it is Harold Kindsvater´s old plane. It is owned by Air Fighter Academy located at Heringsdorf airport in Germany. I read, the noseover was due to a wet area / strip on the taxiway. The wheels sunk in, the pilot tried to get her out by applying more power. Finally the rear fuselage moved up, the prop hit the ground. Due to the metal prop there was quite some damage to the engine (and fuselage?). The plane is currently at MeierMotors AFAIK.
You can see it in their shop in the background on their facebook site, scroll down to 15. Juni, the pic with Jerry Yagen´s G-4 in the foreground, Tiger Moth to the left, PA 18 (95?) behind.
