Tie downs, perhaps? Although I cannot make out a connection to the ground. But bomb rack attach points would make dandy tie downs.

Nope, they don't touch the ground.

Training wheel attach point to prevent ground loops.

I would be inclined to say possibly tow target attach bracket or antenna of some kind. Seems to be low enough to avoid flaps when lowered as well as being able to receive line of sight to avoid the scoop/lower fuselage. Maybe even a camera mount.
Interesting find.

111th at Houston flew post Korean war. They transitioned back to the Mustang after flying F-84Es in Korea.

New Mexico, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts are shown on the Swiss Mustangs web site. Apparently the Arizona ANG had one H model for all of one week!

Photo "lifted" from Swiss Mustangs, no credit given.

Illinois Air Guard also flew some H models with the 169th Fighter Squadron in Peoria.

You can add Maine, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, West Virginia, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Wisconsin...and perhaps more.

Here's a nice selection:
