I stopped by the New England Air Museum today and got a look at their new HU-25A Falcon from the USCG. Nice aircraft! It arrived at BDL on November 13th and was towed over on November 19th.

I also got a look inside the USN Goodyear K-16 Blimp control car. It is really fantastic! It's been 19 years and since the start of it's restoration. Russ Magneson and his crew have done and amazing job fabricating almost everything that was missing or could not be located! It's really something to see!

K-3 Grimes Aldus Light. I donated this to the project many years ago and it's great to see it installed on the Blimp.

Great update Jerry. I'm headed there tomorrow. Too bad the Falcon is in storage I'd like to see it, it's a great looking bird. I'm looking forward to seeing the K-16 gondola. Is the Mustang racer on display? I know the resto was started not too long ago.

Mustang isn't on display yet, though hey are moving along pretty fast for two days a week! Front cowl panels are being fitted around the engine, but there's still a lot to do.

Shouldn't the strap on the pigeon be under the wing and not over it?
