A little bird told me they got one of Connie's Hispano's up and running over the weekend. First time since 1977 I'm told. FYI, that is ALL I know about it!

That is great news Jerry, I hope more information (and pics) will come out of the wood work.

I bet that warm and dry indoor storage was a big help.

Still pissed i didnt win the lottery right when they were listed. What an airshow act 5 "ME-109s" would have made! Just imagine the Crazy Horse is doing its acro routine when AIR RAID hes jumped by half a staffel!

The Messerschmitt had not actually run since 1973.

Sitting around drinking beer on friday afternoon with Connie while it poured rain at the ranch, Connie bet me $100 that the Messerschmitt could fire up its engine in 6 prop blades. I took the bet and the next morning we aired up the tires, pulled it outside, pre oiled the engine, added fuel, and it fired up in 6 blades.

I lost the bet....

I'll post some video of the engine running once I'm back in the office.
