In Scramble magazine (March 2006 issue) I read an update about
44-30861/N9089Z/G-BKXW: it was soon to be transported to Wycombe Air Park for restoration!
How far it will be restored was not clear to me from the text. For
transportation years ago people sawed the midspar, making it unsuitable for flight. Still, a very nice development as the neglect of this historic plane was a great shame.

But my question is: who is behind this restoration and what is the purpose
(sale, museum display, airworthiness ?). Who is the owner ?
I'd welcome any details.
