This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Obviously higher quality stuff will follow, but here's a little to get you started:
Warren

Sherman

Howard

Hadrian

Hyper-Rare Timm N2T

Proud Papa

Adak or Minnesota? The only difference is Adak averages about 10 degrees warmer...

Just part of the fighter lineup:

Inside the tower (plus it's air-conditioned)...

...and view outside the tower:

Do you see the 37mm/.50 caliber scary face?

John Bagley escorts drop tanks to their correct destination:

Odds & ends:

Thank you for sharing your photos, Dan! It was a great event - even the weather turned out to be absolutely perfect all day, despite looking a bit dodgy earlier in the week.

I'm sure we crossed paths, John. Does a black XP-82 t-shirt ring a bell?
I'm hoping someone grabbed a pic of the late P-40 trio. My son & I were just pulling out of the parking lot.
See y'all at OSH.

It was a well-run and well-attended event.
Connie Bowlin interviewing Bud Anderson...Country-Western concert after the afternoon flying...can anyone say "little slice of Oshkosh?"
Unlike OSH, most of the ramp and attending aircraft were roped off. I fully understand why, but was a disappointment.
And for those curious: The Fagen P-38 has not had its nose art changed to SCAT III yet. Perhaps this will happen at Oshkosh (like Ruff Stuff and Twilight Tear)?
Thanks for enduring the poor photography, all.

Thanks for posting those pictures. It's been too long since I've been to a airshow. Please post more if you've got them. Thanks again.

I was there as well, and that has got to be one of my favorite museums around. Great show, the only gripe I had (and it's a small one) was the announcer kept referring to Lady Luck as Heavenly Body. But as previously stated, a very well run show and I can't wait for the next one.

So.... who's got the numbers? What aircraft, and how many of each?
