Yes indeed. RR232 on its first air to air sortie.

I was the guest of Richard Paver on this photo-shoot. His images are in and on the cover of the June Issue of Aeroplane.

That's close but hardly dangerously so. I've been in various rotary winged stuff and it seemed like a rotor was going to come in through the gap in the ramp, then I see photos from the side (or on final to the assault phase) and realize we're at least one and a half the distance of the entire rotor arc apart.

Thanks Peter, she looks good. I'll have to get Aeroplane now and I've just cancelled my subscription last month. :)

I've had a Caribou put his nose up so close under the tail of my Caribou that I could have slid off the ramp and stood on the nose in front of the windscreen.
Amazing to see....wish I had a picture....
