While I agree with the spirit of your comments, Steve, I must take respectful exception to the "incorrect info" portion. I'd like to see that amended/clarified , lest someone, who may have pertinent info to add to a discussion decide not to post because he's unsure of his info.
Case in point, I remember doing a heckuva lot of cut-and-paste of FAR's a while back, to prove a point. In the course of that *correct* info, I made an error which Glenn Wegman corrected, regarding "flowing" of carburetors. Hopefully those types of errors were not what you had in mind (I'm sure not, I have a pretty good idea who/what you are talking about.)
I just wanted to clarify the point that, even if we think we *know* something cold, all of us can still learn from each other so long as it's polite & civil, so folks shouldn't be afraid to post stuff!!

I have no problem with courtesy and tolerance, as long as I’m dealing with a lucid and rational person. However, I have no patience for “know it alls” and “self anointed experts” who disgorge incorrect and misleading information on the rest of us. Warbirds are too important and fragile to adopt a posture of appeasement when dealing with the crazy.
