Current update - all ten of the Oxford-gathered DC-3's/C-47's/C-53's departed this morning, and most have now been arriving at Presque Isle, Maine for a fuel stop on their way to Goose Bay, Canada. N47E "Miss Viriginia" has already arrived at and departed from Presque Isle on its way to Goose Bay right now, and N8336C "Spirit of Benovia" is making a direct flight right now straight to Goose Bay. All should be at Goose Bay by this afternoon.

You can track all of them on FlightAware and FlightRadar24:

"Miss Virginia" - N47E
"Spirit of Benovia" - N8336C
"Placid Lassie" - N74589
Historic Flight Foundation's "Pan Am" - N877MG
"Virginia Ann" - N62CC
"Flabob Express" - N103NA
"Betsy's Biscuit Bomber" - N47SJ
"D-Day Doll" - N45366
"Legendary" - N25641
"That's All Brother" - N47TB

Hopefully "Miss Montana" N24320 will be able to get out of Missoula today.

The DC-3 "Clipper Tabitha May" N33611 has already arrived at Greenland as of yesterday, and may be heading to Iceland today.

I've just returned from a trip that included a stop in Oxford last Friday morning. It was a nice morning, with six of the Daks going up for a photo flight. I got some photos. Full gallery (70+ pics) here. A sampling:

In K5083 post there is a Beech D18S taking off, it's flying over also? Cool if it is, according to Wiki it has 1200 mile range, I'm sure the fuel stop legs are much shorter, Should have went to England this year instead of last year, still had a good time.

No, I think that is the camera plane for the photo shoot they were taking off for. The Beech is N42C registered to Stage One Associates of Oxford CT. The guys inside certainly seemed determined to capture every moment of the flight. :D

Oxford is pretty close to Duxford, isn't it August? :drink3:

Nice photos.

I won't be there, but this journey is epic in my opinion. Too bad more of the original participants won't be able to join in.

"That's All Brother" departed Prestwick today and flew down to Coventry Airport.

Historic Flight Foundation's "Pan Am", "Flabob Express" & "D-Day Doll" all made the crossing from Iceland today, and all 3 now at Prestwick in Scotland.

Can't see any further movements of anything still at Goose or either of the Greenland airports, or "Spirit of Benovia" which still appears to be at Reykjavik, Iceland.

Spirit of Benovia went to Dublin a couple of days ago
