And trust me, there are plenty of days I don't want to wrench on the B-29 (I miss the fighters), but that I need to wrench on the B-29 in order to try to get it back in the air.
My comment was a poorly worded attempt to point out that, I'm glad you
survived your low-pass photo days to end up jumping square into the middle of FiFi.
It takes a certain level of chutzpah to do either...FiFi is a very lucky lady, on both accounts!
I'm glad to see some of you guys are digging out your old photos and sharing
them with us...no matter the quality. I blanch when folks start critiquing
how dangerous it was or telling a gent he wrong about a detail he's remembering
before he finishes his tale. These photos of the early days are hardly ever
seen on the CAF websites..so it is left to the kindness of the folks who were
there at that point in time, in taking the time to share those memories.
I wonder how many photos are gathering dust, because the owner would
rather forgo the risk of such critiques, or they feel the technical quality is not sufficient to show them?
Sorry for the ramble..
Again, thanks for the "Bad" photos Gary. More, please Suh?
